Union Street Café collaborates with La Cascina Dei Sapori

Following on from the success of the Italian Pizza Tasting Event at Union Street Café in February, Head Chef Davide Degiovanni is reuniting with the team at La Cascina Dei Sapori for another collaborative dinner event in Italy on Wednesday 7 November.
For one night only, Davide will be reunited with the team from La Cascina Dei Sapori, serving an array of delicious Italian dishes whilst revisiting the gourmet pizza trend that inspired the previous tasting event with chef Matteo Attianese.
The menu for the evening has been formed focusing on the specialities of each of the collaborative chefs, the dough for each dish based on the expertise of the team at La Cascina Dei Sapori including chef Antionio Pappalardo and the toppings creatively themed on the fresh ingredients served at Union Street Café.
Dishes include pizza tonda con farro a wheat based pizza served with autumnal vegetables, pizza da degustazione topped with pig cheek and bitto and raschera fondue and a serving of cioccolato e pera a chocolate and pear dessert to finish.
