London Dog Week
Thursday 21 March 2019
We all know that Londoners are crazy about their canines, and this fact’s been affirmed by the very first London Dog Week, taking place from Sunday 24 March – 31 March! At Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, we’re no different, and that’s why lots of our restaurants across London are dog friendly.
London Dog Week aims to make London’s ‘streets, stores and venues some of the most dog-friendly in the world’ and ‘support the welfare of dogs around the country and beyond by actively raising awareness and funds’.
If you're getting involved in London Dog Week (or you've just found out about it and think it's a great excuse to pet dogs, cuddle dogs, talk about dogs, take photos of dogs etc...) then you might be interested in finding out about some of our dog-friendly restaurants in the capital.
BATTERSEA
Battersea is one of the most dog-friendly places in the capital, and has been home to Battersea Dogs & Cats home for decades.
London House in Battersea is the perfect place to take your pooch for an afternoon. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome inside the restaurant, and we’ve got water bowls ready and waiting to relieve the thirst of a long dog walk (if your thirst needs reliving, we’ve also got a great cocktail list and we run Social Hour every day from 5-7pm).
Why not take your dog for a run around in Battersea park, before making the short walk over to us?
EAST LONDON
If you’re around and about in East London with your pup this week, then The Narrow by Gordon Ramsay is a great place to settle in with a drink whilst your dog takes a little snooze (or gets fussed by our staff!) The Narrow is right by the river Thames and there are great dog walks all around this area. With our new breakfast menu, why not make it a doggy date at the weekend?
CAMDEN
Dogs are also more than welcome in the York & Albany in Camden. For £15 you can enjoy a delicious starter and main course from our new Love Lunch menu.
After a leisurely lunch, you’d be barking mad not to take your pet to nearby Regent’s Park or Primrose Hill for a good run around – there are watering holes just for dogs in Regent’s Park (and plenty of sticks and squirrels here too) so your dog will be in seventh heaven.
Whether you’re a fan of Dachshunds, you think poodles are the perfect companion, or you simply love Labradors, treat this week as a great excuse to bond with your pet and celebrate man’s best friend!
