About Make-A-Wish®

For children diagnosed with critical illnesses, a wish come true can be a crucial turning point in their lives. A wish can be that spark that helps these children believe that anything is possible and gives them the strength to fight harder against their illnesses. This impact is why we are driven to make every one of these wishes come true. 

In the U.S. and its territories, a wish is granted every 34 minutes. A wish can be that spark that helps these children believe that anything is possible and gives them the strength to fight harder against their illnesses. This one belief guides us and inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.

About St. Jude

Since its inception in 1962, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® has helped develop treatments for children battling childhood cancer. More than fifty years later, the childhood cancer survival rate has increased to 80%, from a mere 20%. 

While a child is under the care of St. Jude, families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. St. Jude wants each family to be able to focus on their child battling a critical illness. This is possible because of supporters and donations St. Jude receives.
